Seafarers Recruitment processes account and professional information to operate maritime profiles, job applications, employer vacancy management and recruitment communication.

Public Crew Directory

A seafarer chooses whether to show a professional summary in the public Crew Directory. Public summaries may include a shortened name, current rank, nationality, years of experience, vessel preferences and availability. Contact details, dates of birth, document numbers, uploaded files and references are never included in the public directory.

Verified employer access

A seafarer separately chooses whether verified maritime employers may view the complete professional CV and make recruitment contact. Company accounts must be approved by the website administrator before receiving this access. Access may be removed if an account is misused.

Marine documents

Passport, Seaman’s Book, COC, GMDSS, medical, STCW, endorsement, visa and other marine-document information is used only for legitimate recruitment and verification. Uploaded files are stored in a protected server area and are delivered through authenticated, permission-checked requests.

Applications and communication

When a seafarer applies to a vacancy, the vacancy owner receives access to that candidate’s CV and application. Employers may contact eligible seafarers through the platform. Notifications may also be sent by email. Application status and account notifications are retained in the relevant dashboard.

Retention and rights

We do not sell personal information. Data is retained only as reasonably necessary for recruitment, account security, legal and operational purposes. Users may edit profile visibility in their account and may request access, correction or deletion through the website contact form.
